About Lisa, page 5

Her unorthodox mental abilities give Lisa the gift of quick learning which she applies to any project she desires. With a strong desire to use her business as an educational tool to promote positive messages about peace, love, freedom, gender equality, human rights, veganism, sexuality and spirituality Lisa used that creativity to birth Green Earth Creations. She taught herself how to screen print using non toxic paints. She found a local manufacturer of organic cotton t-shirts. She also found cloth bags. She began printing and painting on the materials. In addition Lisa returned to candle making. She found a local distributor of soy wax, bought metal tins, and fragrances and hand poured candles.

In September 2008 Lisa landed on the Venice boardwalk offering her products each weekend and weekdays working at her corporate job. In December 2008 she resigned from CBRE to pursue her own business fulltime.

During this same period Lisa spent much of her free time in activism. At anti-war rallies, at immigrant rights marches, LGBT rights, animal rights along with volunteering at the Downtown Women's Center in Skid Row.

Her extensive research about the massive number of people living on the streets in greater Los Angeles fueled Lisa into advocating on behalf of the homeless. At work she held clothing drives and canned food drives. She spent time getting to know people that were homeless to learn about the issues. It's obvious that society has lost it's emotional maturity if we leave others to fend for themselves, alone and suffering. y Lisa remains an advocate for the homeless and the underserved communities in Venice and througout greater Los Angeles.

In addition Lisa came to realize just voting in elections wasn't enough. Lisa, a registered Democrat at the time, supported Dennis Kucinich's campaign early 2008. About mid way through the Democratic Primary Lisa discovered the Green Party. Lisa immediately understood that the Green Party or what she oftens refers to as "The Earth's Party" was a political party and a movement to a more balanced way of life for all! This union of Lisa Green and the Green Party launched Lisa into another transformative phase - politics.

In mid 2008 Lisa began attending month Los Angeles Green Party meetings. During fall 2008 Lisa assisted Linda Pierra-Avila with her own campaign for Santa Monica City Council. click here ---->
