About Lisa Green, page 4
From July 2006 to December 2006 Lisa remained unemployed. She sold or gave away most of her belongings. In September 2006 Lisa stopped drinking alcohol without any assistance from others and remains sober to this day (because it's just not needed any longer). She sold her car. She walked a great deal. She returned to vegetarianism.
Lisa spent this critical time soul searching and limiting her contact with people that had been in her life. Although it was troubling and confusing at times for her family, Lisa felt physically removing herself from all familiar surroundings would assist her through this transformation of finding comprehending her soul's purpose.
In January 2007 Lisa relocated to Los Angeles. She left her dog Tiki temporarily with a former partner. With only two suitcases Lisa moved into a hostel off Lincoln Blvd in Venice, CA. After her short stay at the hostel Lisa found a weekly motel in Santa Monica. Although Lisa was interested in working in non profits that addressed homelessness or assisted the underserved communities, she returned to temporary work in a financial corporate position to make ends meet.
At CBRE, a global real estate management corporation in El Segundo, work ethic once again earned her a permanent work . Lisa then began searching for an apartment, flew her dog Tiki to Los Angeles and eventually purchased a Toyota Prius after five months using mass transit as her main form of transportation.
Her intentions careerwise were to find a non profit job after about year at CBRE but she found the transition challenging with less then 2 years experience in that industry and almost 20 years in corporations. At CBRE she met some great people and made fast friends though her work life was turbulent due to challenging personalities within her department. This emotionally draining situation finally acted as the "kick in pants" Lisa needed to make the leap from the corporate world into her own business. She started her own business in June 2008.
Her father David is an artist and nurtured that talent in his children at a young age. click here ---->
